GOING….GOING….GONE! That was Jerry Anderson’s call over and over this past Saturday at Emmanuel’s Annual Auction. Jerry and Julia Johnston, an Emmanuel Alumna who presently works for Fox 36, were here to raise the most ever for ECS. A rainy Saturday brought out many who filled the gym with enthusiasm and good bids. Flowers, gift certificates, golf rounds, and Suites at 5/3rd were among the sought-after items. A hearty thanks goes out to the many who helped make this the most successful auction yet. Mrs.Theresa Felske and the Huss family are among the many who deserve applause and thanks for all their work. Though the auction may be over for this year, the benefits and dividends will be felt throughout the school for many years. Over $40,000 was raised which will help supply scholarships and help put on a new floor in the Dunbar Gym. Here’s hoping we’ll see you at the auction next year!
