Bike-A-Thon 2008 Bike-A-Thon 2008

Ready.  Set.  Pedal!  ECS’s annual Bike-a-Thon is just around the corner.  September 19th will find more than a hundred bikes, students, and parents at Secor Park.  The day is always a highlight of the school year.  Lots of volunteers are needed to help with lunch and concessions, first aid, bike repair, lap counting, and student activities.  Though the students have fun, the Bike-a-Thon also brings in significant financial assistance for our school.  Raised funds will help purchase several Smartboards for the classroom.  The middle school profits will partially be used to reduce transportation cost of the biannual trip to Washington D.C. 
The day  also includes Praise and Prayer.  Some of the day will be spent bringing praise to God for the many things he has done.  The students will also be praying for the special needs of school families and Bike-a-Thon donors. 
The kindergarten through 2 nd grade will be working their little legs in the back parking lot of Emmanuel Baptist Church.  If you would like to help sponsor a student or volunteer to help please contact the school at 419-885-7030.
