The minimum diploma that is earned at ECS is the College Prep Diploma; however, individuals do exceed those requirements in some course disciplines. Twenty-five credits are required for all students. At the end of the fourth high school year, a student will have completed thirty-six hours of community service.
The following 25 credits are required for graduation: English-4; science-3; technology-1; health-1/2; Bible-4; mathematics-3; social sciences-3; fine arts-1; physical education-1/2; foreign language-1; home arts-1/2; electives-3 1/2.
The following electives are currently offered: accounting 1, art, creative writing, computer 2 & 3, speech, independent studies, library aide, office aide, and teacher aide. Additional options available to students are band or choir, Alpha Omega on-line courses, AP English, AP Spanish, math essentials, AP US history, anatomy/physiology, physics, and post-secondary classes.
