Mark Friday, April 30, 2010 on your calendar. That's a day of excitement for elementary students and their grandparents! The day will begin with our annual Grandparents Day at the school campus. All grandparents are invited to join their grandchild in the classrooms and to visit our annual book fair in the Dunbar Gym. At 10:30 students and invited guests will be dismissed to the Emmanuel Baptist Church auditorium for a matinee performance of this year’s elementary music program - "The Pirates of the 'I Don't Care-ibbean'". Afterwards, grandparents will be able to take their grandchildren out to lunch. There will also be an evening performance of the music program at 7:00 p.m. for parents and other guests.
