Registration Registration
begins with submission of an
application accompanied with
a nonrefundable $100.00 enrollment
fee. The registration process
of new students is complete after
testing and interviewing for
admission is held and the application
is accepted. Enrollment is not
considered finalized until the
nonrefundable registration fee
and the first month's tuition
payment are paid. Any outstanding
balance from the previous year
must be paid in full before the
first payment on the new tuition
payment may apply. Any unpaid
balance from other private schools
must be paid in full before any
payment at Emmanuel Christian
School may be applied.
A student
accepted for the current year
is not automatically eligible
for each succeeding year. Families
with children presently enrolled
will be reviewed annually and
must renew their Pastor's Reference.
The July first payment and enrollment
fee are nonrefundable. Any family
not making their July tuition
payment by July 30th will be
removed from the active school
enrollment list and be replaced
by families on the waiting list.
Testing
Entrance tests will be administered
to new applicants for grades
Kindergarten - 12. The grade
placement for all new students
is determined by the administration
of the school through testing.
Students presently enrolled are
tested during the school year.
Books
There is no book fee. The cost
of book rental or purchase (consumables)
is included in the tuition schedule.
Tuition
A tuition schedule is available from the school office. The schedule is divided
into four rate-levels: Kindergarten (full day), Elementary
(1-5), Middle School(6-8), and Senior High (9-12). Multi-student discounts are
available.
Tuition Payments
FACTS Management Company manages our tuition payment options for families by
automatic withdrawals from a checking or savings account. The following terms
apply:

A
discount of 2% is available
with full tuition payment
by July 1st.
•
Partial
payment (in any amount)
may be made prior to
June 15th and monthly
payments for the balance
will be made through
FACTS beginning July
5th or July 20th.
•
Total
tuition in monthly payments
will be made through
FACTS beginning July
5th or July 20th.
•
Students
who enroll after August
1st will be billed a
higher tuition payment
based upon ten (10) months
beginning September 1st.
Method of Payments
Tuition payments through FACTS Management Company are made automatically through
either your checking or savings account. Call our financial administrator for

Scholarships
There are several scholarships that can assist parents with financial needs.
More that 70 families (130 students) receive some form of assistance from scholarship
funds. At present, more than $100,000 per year is awarded to families who have
need. The scholarships include the Dunbar Foundation, the Parmelee Scholarship,
the Toledo Children's Scholarship Fund, and the Galbraith Scholarship. Scholarship
forms can be requested from the business office located at the Emmanuel
Baptist Church building at 4207 Laskey Rd. The deadline for application is
April 1st and awards will be announced by the first week of May. Those applications
received
after April 1st will be reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
T.R.I.P.
Tuition Reduction Incentive Program is another great program to assist you in
paying for tuition. Pick up a T.R.I.P. brochure available in either the elementary
or high school office for details.
Activity Fees
Fall, winter, and spring sports each carry an activitiy fee. These vary per season,
sport, and level. Fee amounts will be announced prior to the season.
