Bryson Quinn, an 11-year old student at Toledo Christian was diagnosed with Lymphoma right before Christmas.   Bryson is in the 6th grade student and on the MS basketball team at TCS.

Bryson’s parents are Jason and Nicole (Bockert) Quinn.  Jason is a TCS alum and Nicole is a WARRIOR alum.  Our hearts and prayers are with this family as they face this very difficult battle with Bryson.  We want to surround them with love, community support, and prayer.

A cancer diagnosis, especially when it’s a child, is difficult in every way.  Financially, even with great health insurance, there are a lot of out of pocket expenses that none of us think about unless we have to face it ourselves.  Things like loss of work (income), out of pocket medical costs, deductibles, co-payments, meals, and much more are just a few of the things that affect a family during cancer treatments.  Families should be able to focus on a cure instead of worrying about the financial challenges that a cancer diagnosis can represent.

Tuesday will be a dress-down day for “TEAM BRYSON”.  All students, faculty, and staff can dress down for a minimum donation of $5 to the TEAM BRYSON fund.  If you and your family would like to share more than $5, it will certainly be welcome.   Donations can be sent in with your student or dropped off at either school office.  There will also be an opportunity to “text to give” to Bryson’s family that we will share in tomorrow’s Warrior Weekly.

Tuesday evening, our boys' JV and Varsity teams play TCS at home (6:00/7:30).  We would like to make the night about Bryson and his family by collecting monetary donations and praying for the family together as a community.

We will be doing fundraising and collecting donations at the game for the Quinn family. We will present all funds that are collected by the WARRIOR community to the Quinn family at the end of the games.  We will close the night in prayer for Bryson and his family.

We hope that you will join us for the Team Bryson White Out on Tuesday night starting at 6pm to show our support and love for Bryson and the entire Quinn family.  Please hold the Quinn family up in continual prayer as they face this battle with Bryson.
