3 Bible Verses to Remember When You're Studying
3 Bible Verses to Remember When You're Studying
Wednesday, June 24, 2020

It's a no-brainer that exams are one of the hardest parts of studying in a school in Toledo. Every now and then, you find yourself cramming for a test, spending long hours trying to review each piece of information. This doesn't just take a toll on your body but your mind, too. You may feel anxious and stressed, which hinders you from achieving your goals.

As a Christian, you can overcome these hurdles by relying on the Lord and His promises. His Word assures you that He will get you through each challenge, no matter how big or small it is. All you have to do is to trust Him. Here are some Bible verses that will keep you reminded of His infinite power and gracious provisions for His children:

Philippians 4:13

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

Sometimes, you think that you haven't studied well enough, or you find a particular topic difficult to understand. But, this verse says that you're capable of doing anything when you lean on the Lord. His power is no match for any problem that you encounter. So, remain in your faith, press on, and don't give up. You'll soon see the fruit of your hard work.

1 Samuel 14:17

"Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.”

Do you recall the time when David encountered Goliath? Imagine being a mere shepherd without formal military training, about to fight an infamous giant. Other people would probably back down at once, but David kept the faith and said, "The battle is the Lord's." And, true to His word, God took control of what David couldn’t handle. He made it possible for David to kill Goliath with a single fire from his slingshot.

You, too, can apply this principle to your studies. The same God who stood up for David can support you in situations that you can't overcome all by yourself. Simply trust Him that through His grace, He'll do the work for you.

1 Peter 5:6-7

"Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you."

If you ever feel worried about not excelling in your exams, remember that the Lord cares for you and will fulfill your needs through His endless grace. He instructs believers to leave all their anxiety and stress to Him as He will continue to sustain them as they work on their goals.
