Dear ECS Faculty, Staff and Families,
I know some of you may already know that Mr. Terrence Blevins will not return to ECS next year. Mr. Blevins served as our upper elementary school principal. His leadership was a blessing and the care he shared for the students was very impactful. We wish Mr. Blevins God’s best as he pursues his next opportunity. He will be greatly missed.
A search for a new principal has led us to hire a leader who is familiar to many of us at Emmanuel Christian School. Some of you may have had children in his class in the upper school. Mr. Mitchell Roth has agreed to move from the science classroom to the upper elementary principal position. Mr. Roth has a passion for education and cares deeply about the students he has served over the years. I am excited to have him join our administrative team. Please join me in welcoming Mr. Mitch Roth to his new position as principal.
My name is Mitchell Roth. I have enjoyed serving at Emmanuel Baptist Church where I have attended my whole life. I serve in the youth ministry supporting young people as this has been my calling in both work and service. My wife Madison and I have one son Isaac who is a year and a half. We are also expecting our daughter to be born July 1, so it has been a very exciting time for me and my family.
I have had the pleasure of serving at Emmanuel Christian for the past two years in the high school and middle school. During this time, I have also been pursuing a degree in Educational Administration. I completed my undergraduate studies at Bowling Green and my master's degree at Grand Canyon University. I am excited to take on the role of upper elementary principal which has been a personal goal of mine. I have been called to serve the Lord with my whole life through education and through many experiences. I am now moving into a position that will help me continue to minister for Him. I am looking forward to working with the amazing teachers and families who are a part of the Emmanuel family this fall!
